    Women in IT Days is an event accompanying the Warsaw IT Days, one of the largest Polish IT conferences. Women's topics have been present at WDI for years, but they are such an important topic that we decided to emphasize them even more. The event aims to encourage women and support their development in the IT industry.

    1. Who is the event aimed at?

    Woman in IT Days is an event accompanying the Warsaw IT Days, aimed at women who already work in IT or want to start a career in this direction

    2. What elements does the event consist of?

    Woman in IT Days and Warsaw IT Days is mainly a large-scale conference in the IT field. The conference is also accompanied by a number of other elements and attractions, including: an industry service and job fair IT Job Exchange, and evening networking meetings - pre-parties and after-parties.

    3.What is the formula for the 2024 event (online, in-person)?

    Woman in IT Days and Warsaw IT Days this year will have both a stationary and online formula. On the first day (Friday, 5.04), the conference and IT Job Exchange will take place online, in the participant's account on a dedicated platform. The second day (Saturday, 6.04) will be held stationary at PGE Narodowy in Warsaw - where you will be able to listen to all the speeches from the onsite tracks and visit the booths of stationary exhibitors. Elements of the event, including the individual online and onsite speeches, are completely independent and separate from each other. Onsite content is not available to online attendees and vice versa. Only participants in the online + onsite packages receive access to the entire event.

    4. What if, for whatever reason, the event cannot be held in stationary form?

    In that case, the stationary part of the event will be held at a different time or online - for which, if necessary, we are fully prepared.

    5.What types of speeches are included in the Event Agenda?
      Participants of Woman in IT Days and Warsaw IT Days 2024 receive access to the following types of presentations:
    • ⚬ Live presentations (part online),
    • ⚬ Presentations in the form of specially prepared recordings available as VoD (part online),
    • ⚬ Stationary presentations (onsite part)
    • Additionally, participants of higher packages receive access to a VoD library of recordings of speeches from the previous edition of Warsaw IT Days 2023.
    6.How can I know in what form individual presentations will be presented?

    In the Agenda, next to each lecture, there is information in what form it is presented - Online Live, Online VoD or stationary (in this case, the room number is provided). Moreover, next to each path there is information about the form in which it is implemented.

    7.What language are the lectures in?

    Lectures are conducted in Polish or English. Information about the language of individual speeches is available in the Agenda.

    8.Will the live presentations be recorded and available after the conference?

    All performances of the online part broadcast live and performances as part of the Main Stage track of the onsite part will be recorded. Recordings of live speeches, like all recordings made available in the VoD model, will be available to view in the participant's account after logging in.

    Basic Online Package - 3-month access to recordings of speeches, only the online part, no access to recordings of the stationary part
    Basic Onsite Package - No access to recordings
    Standard and PRO Packages - 3-month access to all recordings without restrictions

    9.When will recordings of live speeches be made available?

    We usually make the recordings available up to 2 weeks after the conference. We always inform you about this by e-mail.

    10.Until when will recordings of the speeches be available?

    Access to all VoD presentations and recordings of speeches that were presented live is available for 3 months from the date of publication of these recordings.

    11.How can I ask questions to the speakers?

    In the case of speeches broadcast live online, it will be possible to ask questions to the speakers in a live chat. In the case of VoD speeches – in the comments section under the lecture recording. During the stationary part, after each lecture, we have prepared a round tables session, where you will be able to ask questions and talk directly to the speaker after his speech.

    12.How can I rate the speeches?
    Your opinion is very important to us and the speakers, so we will be very grateful if you share it with us.
    In the case of online speeches (live and VoD), you can leave a rating and comment under the video - just select the appropriate number of stars and optionally , add a comment.
    In the case of stationary presentations - the lecture can be assessed in a feedback survey available to logged in users in the Participant's Account.
    13.Until when can I register?

    You can register until the day of the event or until places are filled (the number of tickets in individual pools and packages, both for the online and onsite part, is strictly limited).

    14.Can I purchase access to VoD after the event?

    Yes, it is possible to purchase packages giving access to VoD recordings after the event date. However, these packages do not include gift bags and other benefits offered to participants during the event, and the time limit for access to VoD recordings is 3 months from the date of the event/publication of the recordings, not from the date of purchase.

    15. How can I buy more than 1 package?

    When registering, select the "I am purchasing for several people" option and then select the appropriate number of packages (one package for one person). After paying for the order, you will receive invitation codes, which should then be given to the people for whom the tickets are intended.

    Each participant of the event must set up an individual user account - only in this way will they receive access to the platform where part of the event takes place. online event and will be able to download a personal invitation to enter the stationary part. To create an account, you must complete the registration process by entering the invitation code received from the person who paid for the ticket. After entering the code from the invitation, the price of the appropriate package will be reduced and the person will be able to create an account in the selected package without incurring any costs.

    16.How can I use a discount/invite code from a group purchase?

    The discount code can be used when registering at https://thehacksummit.com/registration.html. At the first step of registration, at the bottom of the page, select the "I have an invitation code" option, and then enter and confirm the code. Once the code is approved, the prices of packages that include the code will be reduced accordingly.

    17.Can I receive a proforma or deferred invoice?

    It is possible to issue an invoice with a deferred payment date. After placing the order and completing the registration, write an email to aleksandra.prychitko@fundacjaap.org.pl. Since this service is completely manual, a handling fee of PLN 49 is charged.

    18. Can I receive an invoice for the purchase of tickets and additional options?

    For each order, a personal invoice is issued for a private person. A VAT invoice for a business entity is available only after selecting the "buy for a company" option when selecting the package.

    The title on the sales document (regardless of the selected options) is "Participation in the Warsaw IT Days conference". If you need to add additional annotations to the sales document, you will find a field to enter them during registration.

    19.How can I collect a T-shirt/sweatshirt (included in the package or purchased as an additional option)?

    In the case of T-shirts from the Standard package and T-shirts and sweatshirts from the PRO package - they can only be collected in person at the event. In the case of any additional options (t-shirt, sweatshirt) purchased separately - personal pickup at the event or shipping to the address indicated in registration will be possible.

    20.When will I receive my t-shirt/sweatshirt?

    In the case of items collected during the event - on the day of the event ;) In the case of items sent by courier - about a month after the event.

    21.Where is the event taking place?

    The stationary part of the event (conference, IT Job Fair) will take place in the center of Warsaw, at the PGE Narodowy Conference Center, al. Fr. Józefa Poniatowskiego 1. Due to restrictions, the exact address may change (in which case we will inform participants by e-mail).

    All online elements of the event (access to live broadcasts, VoD recordings, live chat , virtual exhibition hall IT Employment Exchange) will be available to logged-in users on a dedicated platform.

    22.What times does the event take place?

    The conference takes place from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the exact times of the speeches are available in the Agenda. The IT Job Fair and meetings with exhibitors take place from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

    23.Is lunch available for participants during the in-person event?

    For participants of the Standard and PRO packages, lunch is available as part of the selected conference package. Participants of other packages can purchase lunch as an additional option.

    NOTE: Please note that no catering offers are available at PGE Narodowy. The only option to use catering at the event venue is to order it in advance through the Organizer.

    24.Can I receive a certificate for participating in the event?

    Yes, each conference participant receives a personal certificate confirming participation in the event. The certificate will be available for download after the event in the Participant's Account.

    25.Does booking seats for stationary lectures with the Standard or VoD package guarantee the possibility of taking part in selected lectures?

    No, only Pro and VIP package participants are guaranteed entry to any room. We want to ensure that as many people as possible can take part in the lectures, for this reason and due to numerous last-minute cancellations, we allow overbooking at the registration stage, which is why, in rare situations, for security reasons, we cannot guarantee entry to Standard package participants. to the room, despite having previously made a reservation.

    26.If I have the Standard or VoD package, can I attend the lecture even though I have no reservation?

    Yes, provided that after the lecture begins, there are seats available in the room in the rows dedicated to the Standard package.

    27.Can I take part in any lectures if I have the Pro or PRO package?

    Yes, as a Pro or VIP participant, you receive access to designated Premium seats in the first rows and a guarantee of entry to any lecture.

    28.Can I enter the IT Job Fair without registering?

    No, to enter the IT Job Fair you must register and download a free entry ticket (IT Job Fair / Expo package available at the Registration). During the stationary part of the event, tickets are checked at the entrance. In turn, to take part online, you must have an active account, which you will create by registering.

    29.How can I contact exhibitors?
    You can contact exhibitors, among others: via:

    • ⚬ conversation in the online chat, which you will find at the virtual stand,
    • ⚬ sending any message via the contact form on the virtual stand.

    • ⚬ approach to the stand at the stationary Expo,
    • ⚬ conversation during the afterparty (participation only for participants with selected packages), where most of the exhibitors' representatives are usually present ;).
    Participation in the Expo is, as always, completely free of charge.
    30.Where can I find exhibitor stands?

    Exhibitors' stands will be located in the corridor next to the presentation rooms and available online (access after logging in to the User Account).

    31.Who can take part in the afterparty?

    Participants of the Standard and PRO packages as well as Exhibitors and Speakers of the event can take part in the afterparty.

    32.Where will the pre-party and afterparty take place?
    The afterparty takes place on the day of the stationary event (6th of April) from 9:00 PM - the location will be announced closer to the event date.
    33.What is Matchmaking?

    Matchmaking is a functionality dedicated to event participants and partners, intended to enable establishing contacts, exchanging messages and arranging meetings between users using it. It is available on the official event platform for logged in users with appropriate permissions.

    34.How can I use Matchmaking?
    To use Matchmaking, you must have the appropriate permissions and create your Public Profile, which will be available to other users.
    ⚬ Participants of the Basic package can create a Public Profile and be invited to contact them, but they cannot search for other Profiles and actively invite others. to make contact.
    ⚬ Participants of the Standard and PRO packages can take full advantage of Matchmaking - create a Public Profile, be invited to make contact, browse the Profiles of other users and invite them to make contact.

    After establishing contact, users are able to chat individually with each other.
    35.What is a Public Profile, how can I create one and who will be able to see it?

    Public Profile is your business card, based on which other users will be able to decide whether they want to contact you. You can create it during registration or after logging in to the Participant Account on the event platform. It will only be visible to logged in users who also use Matchmaking and have created their own Public Profile.

    36.Who is the organizer of the event?

    The event is organized by the Academic Partners Foundation for Academic and Business Communities (leading, formal main organizer).

    37.How can I contact the organizers?
